About the Founder

Cristina Weiss is the heart and soul of Herb Horizon. Driven by a passion for helping people, Cristina has established herself as a prominent force in the world of holistic health.
Under her leadership, Herb Horizon is quickly becoming the preeminent source of herbal remedies in the United States.

The course of Cristina's life is one which, like Herb Horizon, has bridged the gulf between two continents and two cultures. She was born and raised in the Philippines, where her father managed a cotton mill and her mother worked as a seamstress. Cristina was educated at a school operated by Buddhist monks who taught spiritual and physical harmony along with math, science, and literature.

Shortly after graduating from college, Cristina moved to Taiwan where her reputation of impenetrable integrity and sharp intellect motivated her boss at Citibank to select her to be one of only four representatives from several Asian countries to participate in F.A.S.T., a special executive management training program.

At first reluctant to leave Asia, Cristina ultimately decided to make the United States her second home, bringing with her a dream of sharing the cultural richness and heritage of her homeland.

Herb Horizon has proven to be the fulfillment of that dream. Now an international company doing business on multiple continents, Herb Horizon started in the kitchen of Cristina's home, where she would supply her family and friends with the same herbal remedies that she now sells across the globe. Cristina was soon swept away in a flood of appreciation from people who took her herbs and experienced profound improvement in their health.

Her own husband was one such thankful customer. Before taking the herbs, he had high cholesterol, chronic back pain, and would become ill with the flu virus several times a year. He even held the record for having the most sick leave absences at his job. After taking Ganoderma Spore, Notoginseng, and P.V. Roger, not only did he stop catching the flu, but his cholesterol fell to within normal limits and his back pain decreased dramatically.

Upon witnessing the extraordinary impact of these herbs on those closest to her, Cristina was inspired to share the remedies of her homeland with as large a circle of people as possible. Herb Horizon was born, and that circle has been rippling outward ever since.
